Linha de Fala collects perspectives from young people in different countries, researches social and political issues, and organises reliable information into accessible educational resources.
Why it exists
Information about the issues shaping young women’s lives exists, but it is scattered across institutional reports, academic papers and news coverage written for specialists. Young people who want to understand a subject properly are left choosing between a headline and a 200-page PDF.
Linha de Fala sits between the two: rigorous sourcing, written so that a sixteen-year-old can follow it, with the local context that international summaries usually leave out.

Why we exist
About Linha de Fala
Linha de Fala was created to give young people a space to share their perspectives on issues affecting women and to make complex social and political topics easier to understand. By bringing together young people from different societies, the project explores how the same issues can be experienced differently across communities.

Amanda started Linha de Fala because she wanted a space where young people could speak openly about the issues affecting women — and see how those same issues look different depending on the society and community you grow up in. What began as a conversation among friends is now an international team of young volunteers.
